new license FORMS database integration in Barlap. Video link above
provides intro (plays at 14% loaded). Need License or Business
Forms - access them now online when needed through Barlap... contact us

11/04/09: New
BATCH TASK UPDATE commands available in Barlap. Users can
update task information on a group of licenses using one command.
If License Type and Expiration Date match, system can find matches and
update task information on all licenses at once. Email update
confirmations are sent to users after the system updates the licenses.

you have network folders where you store license data by store.
You can setup Barlap to open directly to that folder from inside the
application - contact us to setup links to your local server folders.

Email Address and County now display in top section of a Location
record. The Default Email Address shows where any license Alerts
are setup to send for that location - pulls the name(s) from the Address
> Default Email Alert Address. County is pulled from the Physical
Address.

Changed
process when user selects a license off the CHECKLIST at bottom of
location. New process will OPEN the Nav Tree to that license, then
open the license up in center of screen. Saves step of having to
find the license in the Tree should you need too. Thx Chipotle

Posting and Expiration Email
Statements. Barlap is starting a new service that will Email
clients an excel report listing 0-30, 31-60, and 61-90 listings of
licenses about to expire (Expiration Statement) and licenses that have
expired (Posting Statement). Statements run automatically each
month for review and distribution to each client. Intent is to
provide visibility as to what's coming due + what might require
follow-up for your system's license listings. Thanks to Bridget,

2/18/08:
Updated the HomeCalendar with new
sort feature. A new sort button is available that toggles
license expirations on the calendar by Date OR by Location#.
This gives you the ability to group restaurants easily to see what
licenses are coming due on a location by location basis. Thanks

1/22/08:
Added All Licenses by Licensee and
Resident Agent. Pulls licenses based on two fields for
Licensee and Resident Agent stored on each license. Thanks, Karen

More new on HomeScreen Calendar -
We revised the PRINTER icon report. Not in PDF form anymore, opens
as a webpage - easy to view and print. The report will create a
printer-friendly report for whatever 2 months you have displayed on your
calendar. You can also cut/paste into a document or E-mail as
needed. Hope the flexibility is helpful - we plan to expand this
format for other reports in the future.
8/08/07: New addition to the HomeScreen
Calendar - Tasks Status Codes. For each license, the system checks
the Task Status and inserts codes if the tasks are marked other
than Incomplete. A =
Active Task status has changed,
F = Filed
Task, I = Issued

Location SmartTags
- Added new option to add a Post-It note onto a Location Record.
Go to NEW > SmartTag (above Violation at bottom of list). A Tag is
created and added to the location. You can check DISPLAY, and it
will appear in yellow on top by the location address. You can add
multiple Tags - a way to store important notes/memos you want to
remember for a location. Contact us with any questions on the new

New Report Print ICON for Home
Calendar. Added <printer> icon on home screen; opens a PDF

for server moves. To improve bandwidth/service, we are moving the
Barlap servers on Friday, April 28 at 5pm PST.
Servers will be down Friday evening for a scheduled 8-10 hours.

Added MAP feature on all location
entities. Select MAP, and GoogleMaps will open to the location's
physical address listing. Hope this saves some time.

Added new query set for
Licenses by Acquisition Date. The query reads the Acquisition
Date on each license and return records that are within a defined date
range. Queries are available for Liquor and ALL Licenses.
